Little Piggies
Who can say no to this little cute piggy?
The steamed egg is sweet and creamy. Eating with ham and seaweed which are salty is a good mix and they're balanced with the egg well.
Ingredients
- 1 Eggs
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 2 tsp. White Sugar
- 1 piece HamOptional
- 1 small piece Dry SeaweedOptional
Directions
Make Egg Mixture
Blend 1 egg and 2 tsp. of granulated white sugar together. I like to use a whisk to beat the egg instead of a fork, I feel in this way the egg can be evenly blended.
After that, add 3/4 cup of milk, give them a good mix. By the way, the milk what I used in this recipe only have 2% milk fat. You can try any kind of milk that you prefer.
Steam
Use aluminum foil to cover the egg bowl. The foil can prevent the eggs from collecting water, also we can get a smooth surface of egg after steaming.
If you don't have steamer, it is fine to do like what I did and use a wok or a deep and big pot.
Put a steam rack in it, add some water. The water can not be over the rack.
Bring the water to boil with high heat, then put egg bowl on the rack. Cover with a lid.
Steam for 15 minutes.
Decorate
I cut ham and dry seaweed to make little piggy's ears, nose, eyes and mouth. I think it makes it fun and enjoyable to eat.

You can also pick up other ingredients to make it look cuter, or make it look like a chicken instead of a pig.
I believe no one can say no to this little cutie, especially kids.
